About Me

Thank you for visiting my site. 

I am excited to have the opportunity to share a little about myself. I hope this will be the first step toward the chance to meet with you and your family soon. 

While working to obtain my license in clinical social work, I worked with children and families as a therapeutic foster care case manager with a St. Louis area organization.  I gained a tremendous amount of insight, respect, and empathy for the children and families I worked with who often had a deep traumatic history. 

After obtaining my clinical license, I dedicated nine years of my work to helping treat and prevent child abuse and neglect by providing individual and family therapy at a successful St. Louis area non-profit organization.  I have also worked with children, teens, and adults who have been exposed to various types of trauma, experience anxiety, depression, attachment related disorders, ADHD, challenging and/or disruptive behaviors, difficulty regulating emotions, and more.

My experience has also included several years supervising licensed clinicians and licensed Masters level social workers and many more supervising graduate students pursuing a Masters in Social Work. 

I started Butterfly Effect Counseling & Consulting LLC in June 2018 to continue helping as many individuals and families as possible by providing compassionate, quality, confidential, and unique therapy services.
